We Have To Laugh at Ourselves
Ya, it happens! Call it silly things or just getting older we all drop, forget and even stumble over our own 2 feet. My wife reminds me that I need to laugh at it or I’m going to just get mad, never truer words spoken!
While it may be unfortunate that as time wanders forward so does the number of silly things grow. Maybe we should be laughing all the time? Then again, few of us like the idea of being Mr or Mrs giggles but there is a halfway happy point.
I want to be at that happy point, fun and happy and be able to laugh and be free to do so. Where do my inhibitions and failure to feel free come from? Myself or the way I was raised? Is life supposed to be proper and buttoned up? I say garbage to that idea!
Let us all enjoy or lives, our days and each and every hour! Again, I’m not a clown nor a pull the cord and laugh continuously for 30 seconds. What I am is one who’s seen a lot of sickness, body failures and has taken much of my life too seriously!
Change can happen, it can free us up to say, “ I like laughing” and I don’t need things too help me find funny! Personally I don’t like drug use and I really dislike drinking alcohol. I find fun in the fun things and I like to have a good belly laugh.
Life has so much good to offer and you don’t have to pay for it, it’s all around us, we just need to slow down and see it, then laugh all the frustrations away.
